Blue Lagoon Cruises needed a way to update its trade agents in Europe and Australasia about the recent changes to its boutique cruise product. The client wanted to do this as an online competition.
Ignite Studios conceived of an interactive quiz with the marketing team at Marine Tourism Management. The interactive quiz took the form of a virtual tour guiding the visitor on a 7 day cruise of Fiji’s Islands. On each step of the tour users were asked a simple multiple choice question. The tour also included a flash game ‘catch the falling coconuts’ and was responsive to all tablets and desktop browsers.
The project was a success for Blue Lagoon Cruises and the tour was ported into German as well as English for the New Zealand, Australian travel agents.
